The carrot, a root vegetable from Asia Minor, has been grown for thousands of years. It was unpopular for a long time due to its yellow-orange appearance and hard texture.


The Greeks and Romans used it mainly for its medicinal properties. In the nineteenth century, it was made into the vegetable as we know it today by French agronomic engineers.


The carrot, with its orange colour, tender, crunchy texture and delicate taste is a vegetable that can be used in call kinds of cuisine. As well as decorating preparations, its natural wealth in pro vitamin A and carotene will make it an asset for your health.
