The Pays de Créances, an area in Normandy nestling by the seashore, is a traditional vegetable-growing area. Since the thirteenth century, this terroir has been making the most of its microclimate and sandy, fertile soils to produce outstanding vegetables.
Carrots and leeks are grown in “mielles”, small plots of land sheltered by the dunes – just right to give them the quality and flavour you expect from Normandy!
